Das Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) erhielt ein größeres Update auf Version 2.8. Neu in dieser Version ist unter anderem der MTP-Modus (Media Transfer Protocol) und auch die unterstützten Auflösungen wurden angepasst.
TWRP sollte nun auch problemlos auf Androiden mit QHD-Auflösung arbeiten. Selbst kleine Auflösungen wie z. B. 280×280 oder 320×320 werden nun vollständig bedient. Dies dürfte gerade für die immer mehr in Mode kommenden Android Wear Smartwatches nützlich sein.
